Privacy Policy

Kinazly is intended for adults organizing their own or their household's life. During the Private Beta, children should not create Kinazly accounts or use Kinazly independently. Adults may add information about children in their household when it is useful for organizing household activities and responsibilities.

Depending on how you use Kinazly, information may include:

• your first name, email address and account information;
• household members you add, including first name, relationship and an optional school grade for a child;
• calendar events and repeating schedules;
• tasks, deadlines and payments;
• information you paste into AtoZ;
• photos, screenshots, PDFs and other supported files you upload;
• emails and attachments you forward to AtoZ;
• your AtoZ conversations;
• changes AtoZ prepares and you confirm;
• FIND searches, results and saved discoveries;
• an optional Home area such as a neighbourhood, city or postal code;
• device location when you explicitly permit Kinazly to use it for a nearby search;
• feedback you choose to provide; and
• limited usage, security and operational information needed to operate, protect and improve Kinazly.

Your password is handled by Kinazly's authentication infrastructure and is not available to Kinazly in readable form.

Kinazly uses information to provide the features you request, including:

• organizing calendars, schedules and tasks;
• understanding information you send to AtoZ;
• identifying possible events, deadlines, payments and actions for your review;
• answering questions about your household information;
• preparing changes that you can review and confirm;
• finding relevant places, activities, programs and services;
• comparing FIND results with your schedule inside Kinazly;
• identifying possible scheduling conflicts;
• providing shared household access;
• operating, securing and supporting the service; and
• understanding which features are useful during the Private Beta through limited product analytics.

Kinazly does not sell household information to advertisers, and the Private Beta does not contain advertising.

Adults may add information about children in their household. A child's Kinazly profile may contain a first name, relationship and, if provided, school grade. Additional information about a child may appear because an adult sends it to Kinazly—for example, an activity schedule, school notice, permission form, photograph or event. Relevant information about children may therefore be processed by Kinazly's service providers when necessary to provide features requested by the adult user. Please provide only information that is reasonably useful for organizing your household.

A Kinazly household is a shared space. Adults granted access to the same household can see and change shared information including household members, calendars, repeating schedules, tasks, payments, sources sent to AtoZ, items awaiting review and saved discoveries. There are no private items within a shared household during the Private Beta.

Each adult's personal AtoZ conversations and FIND search history remain separate from other adults in the household.

AtoZ uses artificial intelligence to understand information, answer questions and prepare actions. When necessary to provide a feature, relevant information may be processed through AI services. Depending on what you ask AtoZ to do, this may include household information, events, text, forwarded email content, photos, PDFs or other supported files.

Kinazly minimizes information sent where practical. For FIND, household-member names are not sent to the AI. Member relationships or grades are included only when relevant to understanding a person-related search. Generic searches such as restaurants, stores or tradespeople do not require those member details.

AtoZ can make mistakes. Information extracted from a source must be reviewed before it becomes a calendar item or task, and changes proposed through AtoZ require confirmation.

The Lovable model-training option used by Kinazly's owner has been disabled for the Private Beta.

FIND uses external search, mapping and webpage-reading services to locate places, activities, programs and services. Kinazly may send those services information needed to perform a search, such as the search request and search area. Household calendar information is not sent to Google Maps, Perplexity or Firecrawl. Schedule and conflict comparisons happen inside Kinazly.

If you choose near me and grant location permission, your precise device location is used temporarily for the live search, map and travel calculations. Kinazly does not retain the precise device location after the live lookup. FIND history retains an area description and an approximately one-kilometre rounded location for up to 90 days. A short-lived location lookup cache may exist for up to one hour and is keyed using the rounded location rather than your retained precise coordinates.

Kinazly uses service providers to operate parts of the service. These currently include: Lovable / Lovable Cloud for application infrastructure, database, storage and AI-related services; Resend for receiving and delivering email; Google Maps Platform for maps, places, location and travel information; Google Calendar, only when you choose to connect it, for read-only calendar import; Perplexity for live web discovery used by FIND; and Firecrawl for reading public webpages used to verify FIND information.

Different providers receive different information depending on the feature being used. For example, Perplexity FIND searches are performed server-side using a sanitized search query and do not include household-member names, grades, calendar content or raw device coordinates. Kinazly may temporarily cache Perplexity search results for approximately 12 hours.

Provider systems may process information outside your province or country. Information may therefore be subject to the laws of jurisdictions in which service providers operate. Kinazly does not claim that every provider offers Zero Data Retention. Provider retention practices can differ from Kinazly's own retention periods.

Kinazly uses Google Maps Platform for mapping, local search, directions and travel information. Google may receive information necessary to provide those services, including location information when you request a location-based feature. Google Maps Platform also logs information associated with API requests according to Google's own practices. Use of Google Maps features is subject to Google's applicable terms and privacy practices.

Connecting Google Calendar is optional and you choose which of your calendars Kinazly may look at. When you connect, Kinazly may access, from the calendars you explicitly select, the information needed for the current product functionality, including as applicable:

• the Google account identity (such as email address) used for the connection;
• calendar names and identifiers;
• event titles;
• dates and start/end times;
• locations;
• descriptions;
• recurrence (repeating schedule) information;
• attendee information, used for matching events to members of your Kin; and
• identifiers required to keep imported events synchronized with Google.

Kinazly uses this information to provide its household organization functionality: displaying your selected calendar commitments inside Kinazly, organizing schedules, providing daily and weekly briefing context, schedule and availability awareness, identifying possible scheduling conflicts, and answering schedule-related questions through Ask AtoZ. AtoZ works from the calendar information stored in Kinazly — it does not make live calls to your Google Calendar.

Kinazly's Google Calendar integration is read-only. Kinazly does not create, modify or delete events in your Google Calendar, and nothing is ever sent back to Google.

Imported calendar information and the identifiers needed for synchronization are stored within Kinazly so the service can display your events and keep them up to date. The credentials used for the connection are stored in encrypted form and are never visible in the app.

You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time through Kin → Connections. Disconnecting stops all future synchronization, removes the connection authorization and deletes the stored connection credentials. Events already imported into Kinazly remain unless you delete them, and can be removed like any other Kinazly event. Deleting your Kinazly account or household follows the deletion rules described in this policy.

Google Calendar data is not sold and is not used for advertising. As stated above, the Lovable model-training option used by Kinazly's owner has been disabled for the Private Beta.

Kinazly's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When you forward an email to AtoZ, the message and supported attachments pass through Kinazly's email provider before Kinazly processes them. Within Kinazly, original email content and attachments that produce nothing actionable, or that AtoZ cannot successfully read, are automatically deleted after 30 days. An original source waiting for your review is retained until you deal with it. Approved calendar entries, tasks and payments can remain after their original source is deleted. Where appropriate, Kinazly will indicate that the original is no longer available.

Email-provider retention may differ from Kinazly's own retention.

Current Private Beta retention periods include:

• FIND search history — up to 90 days;
• email delivery logs — up to 90 days;
• product usage counts — up to 180 days;
• confirmed-change audit records — up to 365 days;
• deletion receipts — up to 730 days;
• non-actionable or unreadable email source content — generally 30 days;
• short-lived FIND location lookup cache — up to one hour; and
• household calendars, tasks and other active household information — generally until deleted or the household is deleted, subject to legitimate operational, security or legal retention requirements.

Information may temporarily remain in provider systems, logs or backups after deletion. Provider retention periods may differ from Kinazly's own.

Private Beta analytics are intended to measure feature usage rather than household content. Kinazly may record events such as onboarding completion, whether ADD, ASK, FIND or DO was used, whether a result was opened, or whether an AtoZ answer received positive or negative feedback. Kinazly does not intentionally place raw AtoZ conversations, forwarded email text, uploaded documents, exact addresses, personal names or precise device location into product analytics.

If you voluntarily send feedback, Kinazly stores the feedback so it can be reviewed. When the associated account is deleted, the feedback text is destroyed, its connection to the account and household is removed, and only an anonymized record that feedback was submitted remains.

Kinazly uses technical controls intended to restrict household information to accounts that are active members of that household. Household authorization is enforced server-side and at the database level, and uploaded sources are stored privately. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Kinazly does not claim certifications, audits, compliance standards, encryption guarantees or data-location guarantees that it has not actually obtained.

Household organization naturally involves information about other people. Only provide information about another person when you are comfortable doing so and have an appropriate reason or authority to use that information for household organization.

Depending on the feature, you can:

• choose what household information to provide;
• decline device-location permission;
• use a coarse Home area instead of precise device location;
• review extracted information before adding it;
• decline AtoZ-proposed changes;
• remove household information;
• leave a shared household where permitted;
• request account deletion; and
• contact Kinazly about privacy, access or correction questions.

Account deletion is available through Kin & settings. If you are the only adult in a household, deleting the account can also remove the household and its information. In a shared household, ownership and access rules prevent one adult from unintentionally deleting a household another adult continues to use.

If information cannot be removed automatically, Kinazly will not claim that deletion has completed when it has not. Limited information may remain where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, deletion verification, or temporarily in service-provider systems or backups.

Kinazly may update this Privacy Policy as the Private Beta develops. The version date will change when the policy changes. Material changes may require you to review and acknowledge a new version before continuing to use Kinazly.
